Oh man, I think doing these memes is a good way to motivate and remind yourself that things definitely do get better :'D Practice, man! It may not look like you make improvement right away, but believe me, every drawing and practice you do is one step closer to the artist you strive to be! I have a long way to go, but here's to another fun 6 years!
